"Social World Film Festival" arrives in Vienna.

Great results for the first step that brought in the Austrian capital five movies, realized by young filmmakers under 35, in competition during the last edition of the international festival, which took place the last 2011 May in Vico Equense.

In the big auditorium of Sternberg Palace, Italian Institute of Culture headquarters, Wednesday the 7th took palce the event “Social in the World @ Vienna” introduced by Dr Fabrizio Iurlano, Italian director of the cultural institution. “It has been a pleasure for us begin this important collaboration with this Italian festival that includes very professional young people and that aid the distribution of movies with an high social content. I hope to give again hospitality to this organization for the promotion of the winner movie-works of the next edition of Social World film festival in Vico Equense from 6 to 16 May."
After this speech it has been introduced Giuseppe Alessio Nuzzo, the most young artistic director of “Social World Film Festival” in Italy. He explains “We decided to adopt this format to support the international diffusion of social film made in Italy realized by sacrifice, originality and good will of young talent under 35. The project liked so much and maybe it will be rejoined in another world capital”.
At the end of that intervents two videos has been to the projected, the first one about activity done during the first edition of "Social World Film Festival", the second one about the football match against drugs, happened the last December in Acerra.
Some others works, selected by Artistic direction, has been presented to the Austrian public: Bando di Concorso di Giovanni Meola, XIE ZI by Giuseppe Marco Albano, Il Torneo by Michele Alahique, Oggi gira così by Sydney Sibilia and Rec, Stop and Play by Emanuele Pisano. At the end, as usually it’s done during festivals, public explained its opinion about works and theirs contents.
The event has had a great appreciation from Italian ambassador in Vienna Dr Eugenio D’Auria. It has been organized in the contest of second edition of “ Social World film Festival” thanks to Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri – Dipartimento della Gioventù and the contribution of Città di Vico Equense, in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Vienna and Scuola di Cinema of Napoli.
